Water Colour Mediums
Art Masking Fluid
Used to create striking white highlights or areas for overpainting at a later stage. Forms a fast-drying, water-resistant film on watercolour paper and board, easily removed when dry by rubbing with an eraser, soft tissue or cotton bud. An old brush, pen or cotton bud should be used to apply the Masking Fluid as it is extremely difficult to remove from brushes when dry.
Ox Gall Solution
Improves the wetting and increases the flow of watercolour. Only add a few drops of Ox Gall to the mixing water.
Gum Arabic
Increases the gloss and transparency of watercolours.
Poster and Watercolour Varnish
Apply one coat for a glossy surface on watercolours, poster or gouache paintings and designs.
Paper Varnish
A clear varnish ideal for prints, maps, découpage and other papercrafts. The intensity of the gloss depends on the type of papaer - the more absorbent the paper the lowr the gloss finish.
